Visual signature, not a digital certificate
The signature is stamped as an image on the pages you choose, as if you signed the paper and scanned it. You can place it on several pages and in any position. It is not a certificate-based electronic signature: it adds no cryptographic validation. If a procedure requires a certificate-based signature, use a dedicated signing application.
Are my files uploaded?
No. ShiftAny Files processes your files directly on your device: this tool runs in your browser and never sends your files to any server.
Frequently asked questions
Is my signature uploaded to a server?
No. The signature and the document are processed in your browser, and your signature image isn’t stored anywhere.
Can I sign several pages?
Yes. Switch pages with the arrows and add the signature to each one you need.
Is it legally valid?
It is equivalent to a scanned handwritten signature: it is usually enough for private documents such as authorizations or simple agreements. Procedures that require an electronic signature need a digital certificate.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. You can draw the signature with your finger and move it by tapping and dragging.
