General information about the owner of the ShiftAny ecosystem, for the purposes of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE).

2. Scope

This legal notice applies to the entire ShiftAny ecosystem: the main site getshiftany.com (coming soon) and all of its modules, hosted on subdomains of getshiftany.com (hereinafter, jointly, "ShiftAny" or "the sites"). It currently comprises:

Any modules added in the future under the getshiftany.com domain shall likewise be subject to this legal notice, to the Privacy and cookie policy and to the Terms and conditions of use, without the need for express mention.

3. Purpose and nature of the project

ShiftAny is a personal, non-profit project that offers, free of charge and without registration, web tools for working with files: documents and PDFs, images, audio and video, among others. Any voluntary contributions from users are used to cover the costs of the project and do not give access to additional services.

All tools run 100% in the user's browser, using Web Workers and code that is downloaded together with the page: files are not uploaded to any server, nor are they stored outside the user's device.

Access to the sites is free. Use of the tools implies acceptance of the Terms and conditions of use and having read the Privacy and cookie policy.

4. Conditions of access and use

The user undertakes to use the sites in accordance with the law, good faith, public order and this legal notice, and not to use them for unlawful purposes or purposes harmful to the rights and interests of third parties, nor in any way that could damage, disable or overload them, or prevent their normal use by other users.

The owner may at any time, without prior notice, modify the presentation, configuration and content of the sites, add, modify or withdraw modules and tools, and amend the conditions set out herein. The version in force is the one published on this page, which is identical across all sites in the ecosystem.

5. Intellectual and industrial property

The source code, graphic design, texts, logos and the "ShiftAny" brand, as well as the other elements of the sites, are owned by ShiftAny or used under licence from their legitimate owners, and are protected by Spanish and European intellectual and industrial property legislation. Their reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation without express authorisation is prohibited, except as permitted by law.

The open-source libraries used by the sites are governed by their respective licences, which prevail over this notice insofar as they are concerned.

The files processed by the user are and remain their exclusive property. As processing takes place locally, the owner does not access them, does not retain them and acquires no rights over their content or over the resulting files.

6. Links

The sites link to one another and may contain links to third-party sites. The owner accepts no responsibility for the content or privacy policies of sites outside the ecosystem accessed through such links.

7. Liability

The owner does not guarantee the continuous availability of the sites or that their tools are free from errors, and shall not be liable for damage arising from their use under the terms set out in the Terms and conditions of use.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals of Spain, without prejudice to any right that consumer protection legislation grants the user to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
