How to use “Organize PDF”

  1. Add the PDF you want to organize.
  2. Drag the thumbnails to change the order, or use the buttons on each page (the keyboard works too).
  3. Rotate or delete pages one by one, or select several and apply it to all of them at once.
  4. Click “Organize PDF” and download the new document.

No redrawing, no recompression

Pages are copied as they are into a new PDF, in the order you choose: text stays selectable, vectors aren’t turned into images and photos keep their quality. Rotations add to whatever orientation each page already had, and deleted pages disappear from the file, which usually gets lighter. The title, internal links, bookmarks (the side outline) and form fields of the remaining pages are kept.

Are my files uploaded?

No. ShiftAny Files processes your files directly on your device: this tool runs in your browser and never sends your files to any server.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change the page order?

Drag each thumbnail to its new spot with the mouse or your finger. With the keyboard, focus a page and use “Move before” and “Move after”, or Alt + arrow keys.

Can I delete several pages at once?

Yes. Tick the pages you don’t need (Shift + click ticks a whole span) and click “Delete”. If you make a mistake, “Reset” brings the document back as it was.

Organize, extract or split?

Organize is for fixing the whole document visually: changing the order, rotating or deleting individual pages. If you only want to pull some pages into a new file, use “Extract PDF Pages”; if you want to break it into several files, “Split PDF”.

Does reorganizing reduce quality?

No. Pages aren’t redrawn or recompressed: only their order, their orientation and which ones are included change.
