Extract pages from a PDF into a new file
Pick pages by range (1-3, 5, 8-12) or by ticking their thumbnails and save them as a new PDF or as separate files; the original stays unchanged.

How to use “Extract PDF Pages”
- Add the PDF you want to take pages from.
- Type the pages (for example 1-3, 5, 8-12) or tick them directly on the thumbnails.
- Choose whether you want them together in a single PDF or one per file inside a ZIP.
- Click “Extract pages” and download the result.
Ranges and thumbnails, in sync
The ranges field and the thumbnails work together: ticking a page updates the text, and typing a range ticks its pages. In a single PDF, pages follow the order you type them in (“8-12, 1-3” puts page 8 first). Every page is copied without redrawing or recompressing, and the original document is not modified.
Are my files uploaded?
No. ShiftAny Files processes your files directly on your device: this tool runs in your browser and never sends your files to any server.
Frequently asked questions
How is it different from “Split PDF”?
Split divides the whole document into several files. Extract lets you keep only the pages you need, together in a new PDF or each one separately.
Can I get each page as a separate file?
Yes. Choose “One per file (ZIP)” and you’ll get a single ZIP with one PDF per page, numbered to keep the order.
Can I change the order while extracting?
Yes, in a single PDF: type the ranges in the order you want, for example 8-12, 1-3. To move pages one by one, use “Organize PDF”.
Is my original PDF modified?
No. A new file is created with the chosen pages, copied as they are with their selectable text and original images; your document stays intact.
