How to use “ODP to PDF”
- Select or drag in your .odp presentation from LibreOffice Impress or OpenOffice.
- Wait while the text, images, shapes and background of each slide are rebuilt.
- Download the PDF, with the same aspect ratio (16:9 or 4:3) as the original presentation.
What is rebuilt from each slide
Each slide is rebuilt with its text (sizes, colors, bold and bullets), images, shapes with fill and outline, the background and the master-page decorations, and saved as a page of the PDF. Because each slide is saved as an image, the text in the PDF isn’t selectable. Tables, charts and embedded objects aren’t included, and gradients, shadows and complex shapes are simplified; if you need the exact result, export to PDF from Impress.
Are my files uploaded?
No. ShiftAny Files processes your files directly on your device: this tool runs in your browser and never sends your files to any server.
Frequently asked questions
Which programs create ODP files?
LibreOffice Impress, Apache OpenOffice Impress and other applications that support OpenDocument.
Is the 16:9 or 4:3 format kept?
Yes: the PDF respects the aspect ratio of the presentation and each slide fills one landscape page.
Does it work with password-protected presentations?
No. Remove the password in LibreOffice (File › Properties) and try again.
